Service Description

This workshop is designed to help parents understand and support their baby's development during the crucial first three months of life. The early weeks with a newborn are filled with rapid growth and change, and understanding your baby's developmental needs can help you build confidence and strengthen your bond. The workshop explores key areas of infant development, including brain development, sensory awareness, communication cues, sleep patterns, feeding behaviours, emotional attachment, and physical milestones. Parents will learn how everyday interactions, such as responsive feeding, skin-to-skin contact, talking, singing, and play, contribute to their baby's cognitive, emotional, and social development. We will also discuss infant reflexes, tummy time, recognising developmental cues, and creating an environment that promotes healthy growth and secure attachment. The workshop provides practical, evidence-based guidance to help parents understand their baby's behaviour and respond to their needs with confidence. Grounded in current research and developmental principles, this workshop aims to empower parents with the knowledge and skills to nurture their baby's development during the first three months of life, laying a strong foundation for future learning, wellbeing, and family connection. *please note that online pricing may differ from the fees applicable to in-person bookings.
